This photo was taken in Trinidad, Cuba 2006.This shot is dominated by the natural cohesion of colours presented throughout the frame. I was immediately struck by the coincidental nature of this colour scheme and felt it would make a strong statement around the idea and expectation of social conformity in Cuba. The shot captures natural poses of both the man and woman, helping to attain a sense of everyday street life.

Ok, if I could edit it with my mental powers the guy's shirt hem would line up perfectly with the break in the wall colors, but then that's just OCD talking...come to think of it - it's perfect the way it is. The dog and the old woman in the window take it to the next level.
